Technical Author VB Script

Global software vendor has a vacancy for a Technical Author in its technical communications team. The position involves writing, developing and editing product documentation including end-user manuals, release notes and online help. You must have the ability to work from functional specifications and to liaise with Developers. You will be involved in defining documentation requirements for new projects including specifying schedules and organising reviews with other departments. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline. Strong writing and editing skills are important along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Technical work experience in a software development environment is preferred and a working knowledge of VBScript, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, RoboHelp X 5 and Adobe Acrobat would be an advantage.
